New College students visited the back courtyard of Charles Dickens' house during their London adventure.

Learning to be comfortable with being lost – that’s what one New College student says he gained from venturing to London over spring break. Several New College students made the trip, accompanied by faculty members including New College Dean Elizabeth Langland.

You’ll also find out about the amazing accomplishments of some recent grads – two of whom received prestigious National Science Foundation fellowships for graduate study, and another whose admission to a Ph.D. program was due in large part to the research she conducted through New College’s NCUIRE program.

There are stories about a grad student’s experiences at a national conference, a collaborative program involving first-year composition faculty and a Valley school district, and the passing of a West Valley leader who played a major role in establishing the West campus.
